  1. Brian Tooker:

Sirs. I have been using your CD mount for several years and have been very satisfied. I now need to upgrade my phone and would be interested in finding out where I could purchase a new metal disk for the back of the new phone, or at least the double sided sticker. Any help is appreciated. Regards, Brian Tooker

  2. DM:

We like using the Universal CD car mount, that I've purchased 4 so far, one of which was gifted to friends. However, I've experienced 2 problems so far: the first one recently failed--the 2 plastic screw posts for the cell phone arm broke off in their holes; and a second one for wife's car failed--center tongue on the steel plate cracked off. I had previously noted to Amazon that the CD slot insertion tongues on the newer model were noticeably thinner than previous purchases, but did not get satisfactory response. Nevertheless, I have managed to assemble one functional CD mount by combining parts from the two failed mounts. As an engineer, I offer comments: the plate steel in the failed unit differs distinctly from that in an earlier model implying failure was caused by a more brittle alloy. Also the thinner insertion tongues required additional displacement width in order to clamp securely in the CD slot of wife's Volvo. Will you supply replacement parts if I return the broken parts??
