Getting excited about the upcoming Galaxy S24 series release? We are too! The wait is almost over and the rumors about what’s to come are in full swing. Here’s what we know about the next Galaxy release event, when you’ll be able to order a new device, and more!

When will the Galaxy S24 series be announced?

According to Samsung, we’ll be able to tune into their Galaxy Unpacked announcement event Wednesday, January 17th.

What are the official Galaxy S24 model names and sizes?

Similar to the S23 series, we can assume the Galaxy S24 lineup will include three different models: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. As far as screen size, there’s rumor that the S24 and S24 Plus will have slightly larger screens at 6.2” and 6.7” inches respectively.

What features could they have?

For design, there’s speculation the S24 and S24 Plus may have slightly flatter edges and smaller bezels. And for S24 Ultra, we could see a more-noticeable change like fewer camera lenses visible on the back.

When it comes to colors, we’re hearing rumors the options for all devices will be black, gray, violet and yellow. It’s also possible Samsung will make additional color options available exclusively through their website, including orange, light blue and light green.

How much will they cost?

We suspect the Galaxy S24 series will be similar to the Galaxy S23 series, starting at $799 for the base model, $999 for the Plus and $1,199 for the Ultra.

When can I order a Galaxy S24?

We expect pre-orders to begin on January 17th and the phones to hit retail shelves the last week of January.
